Cannot input text with FireFox

Help !!!!!
Any input in the forum message area with FireFox is not possible.
Also, this area does not differ in color from the surrounding (both are a sort of grey).
If I try any input, the search function at the bottom of FireFox starts.
Formerly, (I don't know when) inputting text was not a problem.
 
 
 
 

Are you still experiencing the same problem?. Everything works perfectly here and I reply to you using FireFox.

Well, if I am the only one with this problem, the course is probably at my side.

After looking in Extra, Javascript Console, I see a number of errors associated with
'our' forum.
 
NB Fout means Error, Bronbestand means Source File, Regel means Line.

I cannot judge this if this is the explanation and what to do.

With FireFox I miss also a few bars just above the input section.

Ehhh...I use Firefox all the time with no problem. What version of FF are you using?

I too use Firefox with no problems other than the cursor not appearing near the top left of the screen.

The 2 X's above are where I first see the cursor.  Now, back to your issue, do you happen to have a lot of Extensions installed?  Do you use a theme other than the default?  There is a possibility that an extension or theme might be causing the problem.

Have you previously been able to post using FF?  Or has this always happened since you installed it?  If it previously worked, what was the last thing you did to your PC/FF before it stopped working.

One thing to try, and I have never done this myself so am not sure how to do it, delete your FF profile and let it be recreated, you would need to back up your settings though as they should be deleted when you get rid of the profile.

mbouchard, I did read your post with your cursor behaviour already, and tried to type on,
but no success.
The #Extensions = 9.
 
I used FF with no problems until 'recently', no changes made with/in  FF.
 

 
If it previously worked, what was the last thing you did to your PC/FF before it stopped working.

This is what I also always ask to somebody else with problem(s).

Perhaps you should try updating your FF to the current version.

First, I started FF in a safe-mode, in that case no extensions are loaded.
Still no input possible.
Next, I deleted FF and installed FF version 1.5.0.1
Now, it works !! (With the same cursor problem as mbouchard.) Also the number of bars is now OK.
Still not clear why this happened.
