Does anyone know a good word processing component?

After banging my head against a brick wall with textcontrol I thought it might be worth seeing if any other controls out there might be better, and here's a good place to ask the question!

What I need:
A control that works with classic ASP (VBScript)
It must allow merge from my data to tags on a word document (to generate a report header, different each time - the client supplies the word template)
It must allow tables to be created from my data and produced on the word document - and MUST repeat the table header row if the report spans multiple pages

Does anyone know of a tool that would allow this?

I did look into using a Word.Application object but the boss has said he won't allow an instance of word to be installed on the web server so that's out.
