Hidden cells
Tuesday, March 09, 2010 3:17 PM

Hi, In the Excel sheet, I've clicked 'Hidden' in 'protection' tab in 'Format cells' of the cell, and then I protected the sheet. But the 'hidden' cells that I expect to have are still visible!
Thanks & Best Regards, HuaMin Chen

I don't see any scripting question in there, specifically VBScript. I would look at the Help in Excel and seach for "hidden" to verify you are following the proper steps. Outside of the that, you could attempt to post on an Excel forum.

Seriously, how do people think that this forum is a suitable place to post Excel questions like that? I'm not annoyed or anything, just curious at the mental process someone would go through to reach the decision of "Yep, a forum dedicated to Visual Basic scripting is the right place to ask about a totally non-VBscript related issue". It would be like me asking for advice on how to make my omelettes more light and fluffy (which, if anyone knows how to do, I'd appreciate any tips)
