Reason : WSH & Client Side VBScript forum should be used for posting requests for assistance in writing VBScript; this is more suited to the "Off-Topic Lounge". Yes Primal Script can assist with writing VBScript, but this is an announcement and not looking for assistance with a script.
SAPIEN Technologies today officially released PrimalScript 4.1. The latest version has a wealth of new features, but biggest (in my opinion), being support for Windows PowerShell which has also been released today.

New Features:
  • New Output pane
  • Live Syntax Checking
  • Community Browser
  • New Look and Feel
  • Keyword and Function PrimalSense
  • Tool Browser Scanner
  • File History
  • CVS/Subversion support
  • Tasklist Browser
  • PowerShell support
Plus it includes a complete manual written by Don Jones.

If you are a PrimalScript 4.0 user, upgrade information is at http://www.primalscript.com/upgrade.asp otherwise visit http://www.primalscript.com/default.asp to learn more and download your copy. The official company announcement at

OK, is there any way at all to change how the output of a script is displayed?  I much preferred having a separate tab (as in 4.0) rather than this window at the bottom.

You can drag that window out of the main application window. Just don't drag it onto a second monitor though or you will lose it. I'm with you though, I prefer a full screen for my output.

Yeah I saw your post on the SAPIEN forums.  I didn't realise people had been requesting this change for ages.  Seems very counter-intuitive to me.  Still, then again, I'm one of those gamers who inverts their mouse y-axis....

Yeah, I wish the window hadn't been changed.  But oh well.  People are used to other editors that do this.  One thing I wished they fixed was the glitch that would cause my toolbars to become messed up.  If I Min and Max PS a bunch of times the toolbars that I have visable become stacked so they are all on a different line.  I then have to move them around so they only take up 2 lines.

Depends on what your question is.  If it is on VBS or HTA they post it in the Wscript VBscript forums above.  Read the descriptions as they will let you know what should and shouldn't be in that forum.  If push comes to shove post it where you think it should go and if it isn't in the correct spot a mod will move it.
