Robocopy

I was looking at the default switches for RoboCopy today and something struck me as highly amusing. :: Retry Options : :: /R:n :: number of Retries on failed copies: default 1 million. /W:n :: Wait time between retries: default is 30 seconds. Sooooo...that means that if it fails to copy a file it will retry twice a minute, 500,000 times. 500,000 minutes = 8333 hours = 347 days. Fantastic! One year later it might succeed in copying the file.

What a coincidence...I was using RoboCopy over the weekend and noticed the same thing however I didn't calculate what that would equate to.
