Select Box problem

hi

i have a select box in this way

<select name="customer" id="customer">       
       <option value="<%= strcustomer%>"  selected><%= strcustomer%></option>
        <option value="regular">regular</option>
  <option value="Non-regular">Non-regularl</option>

basically what i want is when strcustomer value is regular then i want option value ="regular" not show in the select box
and same with  Non-regular. I dont wnat the value to repaeat twice.

strcustomer value  is got from the database based on the customer id.

The reason i am doing this way is that new customer also uses the same page where strcustomer value is ="select a category"
