Server Time Outs

I'm hosting some good size files on my server (100mb-200mb), and my users are having issues with the downloads timing out like every 10 minutes. As a workaround I set up an FTP folder but this obviously isn;t very user friendly. The server admins claim the issue is client side but I doubt this highly. Is there an ASP workaround or something to fix this issue? There must be an option to manipulate http timeouts, its driving me insane and I can't find any documentation on the issue

Sounds like an IIS configuration (or Apache depending) to me, but I don't know which one. That is why I am not a web admin.

Yeah, its IIS, but what sucks for me is that I think these people are lost in the sauce so to speak.......So I was praying for another workaround. I'm not 100% keen on ASP quite yet so I'm not certain on its connection objects and methods.
