Hi All,

Not sure if i subscribed to the correct place but oh well lets see if there is someone who can help me.

I need to know where the settings are stored for "automatically detect my settings" under internet explorer in windows.
The reason being, We have a proxy server which all traffic need to go through, but clever people here have discovered that if they say auto detect settings, it bypasses the proxy and allows internet for them. How do I know which settings its getting when auto detecting and where it is getting it from.

Hoping there is some clever people out there that will be able to help, and also hoping that I have not asked a stupid question.

Regards,
Hendrika
