Hey, Im made a script which allows you to fill out a web based form and it appends text to .txt file. I keep getting this message that says:

An ActiveX control on this page might be unsafe to interact with other parts of the page. Do you want to allow this interaction?

If you click yes then the script executes fine. Is there any way to suppress or keep this msg from coming up, yet still work the same way.

This is for my workplace, we dont have access to any servers, so all this HAS to take place only on the client side, and having to click yes may hender the whole purpose of writing the script. Any help is appreciated.

As a side note: We only have access to IE, and from my understanding VBscript only works in IE.

Add your intranet to the local intranet security group in IE and configure it to not prompt for downloading activex controls. But you should be careful of doing this as it does relax security and opens a possible exploit.

I thought about that, but they have security settings setup so that you cant access the Internet options. Im mainly a PHP programmer, I know with PHP theres ways to suppress error messages, I just didnt know if VBscript could do the same.

Try changing the form to an .HTA instead. Hypertext Applications do not have the same security restrictions.
