Anyone installed ASP server on XP Home Edition?

I want to install the asp server on my machine which runs Windows XP Home Edition. However, the PWS would not install on XP and IIS is not available for Home Edition (only available for Pro). Is there any other options available[?]

Status: offline 		there are various web servers out there that you can use, however, since you have XP, i cant see why you cant use PWS.. you can get the pws from a windows 98 disc (browse the cd) or go to microsoft site:

http://www.microsoft.com/ntserver/nts/downloads/recommended/NT4OptPk/default.asp

install the server then do the following:

Try doing a test asp page, i.e HELLO WORD.Asp

and type in ur browser: http:\\localhost\helloworld.asp

make sure you page is in the wwwroot.

if it works u know that you have a webserver running
