this may be the incorrect posting board, but i have two questions: i need to automate downloads of data from an internet site. where do i go to find out how to do that, or what resources would be of help in learning to do so? and 2; i wish to automate the use of a program that is not a MS product, although it is a window's application. where do i find out if that is possible and how i can do it?

i have learned enough vbscript to automate manipulation of files and relocate them. i have an intermediate level programming skill with c++.
