Status: offline 		Is there a way I can check to see if a record exists in my database
without getting a compilation error if it doesn't? I want the user to
access the record (as read only)if it exists, and if it doesn't, I want
them to recieve a form to input one.

Status: offline 		check for BOF like (recset.BOF and recset.EOF) = true then
there is no record exists
