Note: quote:
We are not here to write scripts for you, we can fully support you in you writing your scripts. If you make the attempt and are still having issues, we can and will gladly help you out, you can Search our site for up-to-date information on retrieving objects from AD, read/write to the registry, etc... If you have searched and still can't find what you are looking for, then make sure you include what you have searched for in your post, it will both show that you have made the attempt, which will prevent the "Search first" posts and possibly someone can help refine your search terms to help you find the post you are looking for. First thing to start (any project actually) is to write every/each step of the process, what you want to accomplish. Then you must start with step one, and slowly work down to the last step... The WSH Document is the place to start, you could find answers to most of your questions here. It is the Help document that Microsoft has for wscript(VBscript and Jscript). Read it, learn it, refer to it. I have this linked on my desktop for easy reference. It is a big help. ********************************* *******WSH Documentation********* ********************************* Other Microsoft Scripting Links Microsoft Technet Script Center (Online version) Sysinternals - useful utilities (Filemon, Regmon, pstools, etc) Microsoft's Scripting Tools and Utilities - Per Microsoft "All the tools you need to create great scripts are right here.
