Not sure if this is even the right place to post such a question.... but here goes....

I run IIS on my home machine and I was thinking it would be super useful if I could create some type of script / web page, which I could access from my home hosted web site, that could launch a program on the PC its running on.

This even possible to do??

You should use programs like VNC and PC-Anywhere...

The security of windows prevents that kind of access through the browser (backdoor)
