hi I have a question Maybe you can help me with it
i have setup a active directory with group policy that redirect the "My Documents" folder to a share fold in the server.
so whenever the users login the domain, their "my Documents' sync with the folder in the server.
my boss has asked me about if the domain server has been down , is there any way to access the my documents folder?
i think there is some solution about this...
what i think is set "my documents" folder location to default location or some where in the local comp
and sync the folder with a share folder in the server when users logg off.
my question is
is there a scrip that sets a folder sync with another differencially?

Why redirect "My Documents" out to a network share?
Just use "Offline Folder" to synch "My Documents" with the share you have out on the network.

Since all you're really doing is making a backup of the "My Documents" folder anyway.

lets say user cannot log in the domain server
than users also cannot access to their "My documents" folder if "My documents" folder redirected to a share folder.
i want users can access to "My Documents" even though users cannot log in the domain.

Maybe I didn't answer clearly on this, so I found a link that may shed a little more light on what I was trying to say.
Folder redirection / Offline Files

A really easy fix for this is to first map a drive to the server location that the my documents is going to be placed on. Then change the redirect of the my document to the mapped drive instead of the full server path. Then just enable offline files on that drive letter and they will have their my documents on and offline and they will still be placed on the server for easy backup
example
Server location is "\\fs12\user1\tom"
Map a P drive to "\\fs12\user1\tom"
Redirect the my documents to "p:\"
then enable offline file on the P drive
I hope that makes sense let me know if it don't
