i am getting this error message

msxml3.dll error '80072f0c'
A certificate is required to complete client authentication

how to solve this problem?

pls advise.

Maybe a little more information is required to help you out here, but I'm taking a stab at it anyways.
Have you looked into this yet: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q301429

I just ran a quick "google" on your problem and came across that page.
Due to no other information in your post, except the error message itself, this is all I have at this time.

thanks for ur prompt response!
btw my company has few servers, and i thought that particular server has version 3.0 installed
just found out its still version 2. upgraded and the problem solved by adding xmlHTTP.setOption(2) = 13056 'SXH_OPTION_IGNORE_SERVER_SSL_CERT_ERROR_FLAGS
