Hi guys Ive been having problems with a VB runtime error. The error code is 800A000E. Has anyone ever come across this? It occurs when I try to play a particular game. The file is called freemem.vbs. I have cheated by making it open in notepad this stops the game from crashing but after I finish playing there are a lot of open note pad entries. The problem started after I removed the microsoft spyware beta from my PC as those annoying messages that flash across your screen really PO'D me. Since then I have had this problem. I know absolutely nothing about any of this scripting stuff, so I am hoping there is some sort of dummies solution. If any of you can fix this I will name my first child after you and worship you as a living god.
It sounds like your out of luck, the only thing I can tell you from what you've given is that '800A000E' is an out of string space error. So your choices are: Find a way to increase string space, re-install the program, or find a better way to get rid of the Spyware.
I fixed it myself. I just changed the file in question to a read only file and that fixed it totally. So I guess I will be naming my first child after me and calling myself god.
