..I've installed Visual Studio 2005 Express Edition and have started aimlessly fiddling with VB.NET

Why I did this when doing any sort of programming drives me crazy, I do not know.

Good luck with that. I'd recommend C# instead, but either is more or less equally capable.

C#?!?!

I've always had this mental block when it comes to any C variant. It's just SUCH an overpunctuated language. All those semi-colons and squiggly brackets. Makes my eyes bleed.

Why?!?! Why did I do this to myself? Honestly, you'd think they'd make things EASIER in VB.NET wouldn't you? Ohhh no, just try killing a process on a remote machine or, god forbid, working with Active Directory searches.

Sigh.......I need to take a break and regroup.
