I'm not familiar with Rumba. But if you don't have rights on the client machine then you are probably SOL for determining what they have installed. I'm guessing you don't have SMS in your environment.

If Rumba does not provide success reporting, then you will need to come up with your own solution. There are some possibilities but without knowing you environment it is hard to say what will work.
