If I was to ask all of the following questions followed with a bunch on nonsense script in a 24 hour period following a malicious post, what would you assume about my intentions?

How do you make a VBS Script download automatically when people see my webpage. I want to know how to make a hidden VBS Script download.

I want to make like an html script that will automatically (hidden) download my VBS Script to people who see my page.

I want to download things without prompt. So that users can download like things from just going on the page like cookies and stuff like that.

I have this script so far. I want it to be set for a specific time. How do you do that?

How do you make this script copy itself to a different directory?

Can you make a Popup open when you save the vbs file?

thank you, so now this is what i have, but how do i make it open automatically?:

How do you make this run every time you logon?

How do you make this loop?

Fine you don't have to believe me. I don't need your approval. I know in my heart that I am not creating malicious scripts. I have none on my computer at the present time, and i won't any time in the future. I wish that you would believe me, but it's your choice. I was curious and i have never worked on my own in vbs scripting. I don't plan on making malicious scripts. Live with your decision whether to destroy my reputation or leave it the way it is. I hope you will believe me.

All of the above questions can be answered by searching the forums.

It's not that I have a problem with you making one, my problem is with the possibility of the knowledge being public. The last thing this forum needs is scriptkiddies looking for "something cool". If you truly want to learn about vbscript then I'll show you how to learn and give hints about how to accomplish a task. But I won't do all the work for you and I doubt others will as well. Search the forums.

Well said TNO and i know you saw the post that has been deleted which i didn't get to see, but glad you mentioned it in your post or otherwise we might have helped create something that we dont want out there. I am also new to VBS but had done some JavaScript in the late 90's, and this site has been verry helpful in showing me where to get the information and also givng me some code. But i like the fact that they make me do it myself with just some help and direction, but here lately that some of the new poster's want it done for them.

Lets say you are not trying to create something that is malicious but are trying to pull a joke on a friend. Even if that is the case, if people showed you how to do it and it got out, as TNO says scriptkiddies could start using the site for "cool" things to do and once the site got a bad rep, people would probably stop posting, poof there goes a great resource. We do not want that to happen.

That being said, almost everything you are asking, i.e. interacting with a PC from a website, would require either your manual manipulation of a friends desktop or your use of a known vulnerability. Either case could cause much haovk on a PC as you would either need to relax security, which could cause a friend's PC to become vulnerable to malicious attacks, or as stated before use a known vulnerability which could have the same result.

In either case, if you were a friend of mine and did something like this I doubt I would still consider you a friend.

You state in this post post
quote:
"i have made malicious scripts in the past, but i am not making one now.

but you ask all sorts of questions that have the strong potential of being used in code that is malicious. That puts everyone on "alert" and I doubt that you will get assistance on the code.

Hows the saying go?
