So thats the code. It won't send the email, tho. I talked about it to someone else. He said its cuz Gmail uses SSL and to google the problem. I did and I didn't find anything.

So, anyone know how to change the code to include SSL and where it would go?

i dont think the cdo object can do tls (which isnt ssl btw), also gmail's smtp is authenticated which im pretty sure cdo doesnt do either.
id just use your isp's smtp server otherwise youre gonna run into relay headaches.

The OP used his ISP's smtp server and it solved his problem, but...
CDO does do authentication. take a look at the link I posted. It shows pretty much everything that CDO can do.
