Status: offline 		  Hey Folks,

   What I'm trying to do is find out a rather large number of computer ip address's. I'd like to ping the server name and then extract the ip and throw it into a spreadsheet.  I haven't been able to find any information that allows me to do this as precisly as I need.

Any help is appreciated.

What I do, when I don't want to see the dos window, but still need to get the output, is I pipe the command output to a file:

      
Then, it is trivial to read in and parse the resulting file.
