I'm working on a project to implement differential password policies on my domain by OU or by Group instead of the "one size fits all" password policy provided by Microsoft.

I've got the scripts working pretty well for about a year now, but when your password expiration warning comes up in the logon script (just a vb message box telling the user how many days left until they have to change) I would like to have a button that calls up the normal workstation "change password" control.

I'm pretty sure it's a dll somewhere in system32, but I don't have any experience working with system DLL's, or figuring out which one has the magic control box I want to fire off.

Any VB expert out there that can give me some clues for searching Google (I've struck out a lot) or a code sample for launching that control I want, or any clues/pointers/advice? Thanks in advance!

If it is a system DLL you will probably need to do it in VB not VBS. I'd be suprised if that particular control is exposed however since it would be an easy control for a trojan to hijack and capture passwords.
