G'day again.... ok i suppose i better start from the start and it might help you all understand my problems a little better.
Is what I have done is gone and bought the b&b game template (http://www.bbtemplate.com/).... A friend of mine is working with me on this and we have trouble after trouble gettin our database on line.
It's a browser based game, kind of like nationwars, metrowars, hobowars and so on. I know we have thrown ourselves in the deepend a bit as neither of us have used .ASP before.
We have been slowly working it out but it's taken up 100+ hours so far of late nights and lots of coffee!!!!
Is there anyone here that has used this template before?
I have converted the templates database to mysql and followed the setup instructions as closely as possible.
my MSN messenger is aitchos@hotmail.com, I'd love some help on getting this setup or at least some advice.
We have the .com already and while we are in testing stages we have a basic package at lunarpages.com....
It's a linux server and i think i may have made a bit of a mistake useing a linux server instead of a windows but we all know how much more stable and reliable linux is compared to windows so that was my preferred choice.
ANY help will be more than appreciated.
even some advice on which way we should be going about this.

I'm not really familiar with what you are doing; I haven't ever attempted this, but I was looking over the REQUIREMENTS from the www.bbtemplate.com/requirements.asp and it states that it is ran on "Microsoft IIS webserver software".
I did not see anything to do with Linux, so that may be one major issue that you've already ran into.
