Hi all,
I'm here once again to humbly request some assistance with a problem.
I am trying to embed a hyperlink into an email that is being written with VBScript.
Here is the code as I've written it:
Mailer.AddRecipient eRS("Name"), eRS("EmailAddress") Mailer.FromName = Request.Form("txtOriginator") Mailer.FromAddress = "cplwweb@potlatchcorp.com" Mailer.Subject = "New Incident" Mailer.BodyText = "A new Incident has been posted: " & vbCRLF & _ "Incident ID#: " & rtn & vbCRLF & _ "Incident Date: " & Request.Form("txtIncidentDate") & vbCRLF & _ "Investigation Date: " & Request.Form("txtInvestigationDate") & vbCRLF & _ "Department: " & dept & vbCRLF & _ "Crew: " & crew & vbCRLF & _ "Type of Accident: " & accident & vbCRLF & _ "Type of Injury: " & injury & vbCRLF & _ "Description: " & Request.Form("txtAddendum") & vbCRLF & vbCRLF & _ "Link: " & "<a href='/apps/IncidentInvestigation2/View.asp?Id=' & rtn & '&PlantId=' & plant & '>View the Report." 'response.write(Mailer.BodyText) 'response.end Mailer.RemoteHost = "cplwmsweb.ad.pch.local" Mailer.SendMail
The Mailer object is already created and the email is being sent with no problems.
I thank you in advance for any imparted wisdom.

All,
NVM, I fould the solution. The Mailer object has a ContentType attribute that needed to be set to 'text/html'.
