I'm trying to set up my home PC so that i can experiment with some ASP, i read on w3schools that you need PWS or IIS installed before you can test your code. But Personal Web Server isn't available on Windows ME. Has anyone had any experience with this? or can offer any suggestion.

Here's a link to a Microsoft Knowledge Base article regarding WindowsME and PWS.

The short version is, that they say it's "not a supported configuration", and then tell you how to do it...gotta love it.

If you aren't interested in setting up your system as a webserver, the best bet would be to find a host that will allow you to use asp. I use frontpage. The site I use is www.fp2k2.com. It's FREE. NO ADS. NO POPUPS. They only allow people that are using FP.
