Status: offline 		im useing the loadXML function of the "microsoft.XMLDOM" object and its adding a version header to my xml. "<version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" >"  how do i get this to stop cause its screwing up my program.

Status: offline 		Well since the version header is part of the XML standards, then perhaps you are solving the wrong problem?

Status: offline 		I dont know why but this stopped affecting me.   Im new to vbscript so I did something that load the file correctly but now im have another problem selecting nodes which i have started a new thread for.
