Rather than hard-code a folder path into my script, I want my users to be able to browse for one.  This is fine, I can do this.

However I only want to offer them a choice the first time they run the script - thereafter I'd like the script to "remember" the folder they chose.

I'm guessing I'll have to write stuff to the registry, but I've never done that and am unsure where to start.

Yes, very funny.  I tried that, I searched on "store in registry", "storing in registry", "store variable in registry" and "writing to registry" and had no luck
