Very simple subroutine used to display a string in an IE window.
This will NOT display the "Http://" in the title bar of the window, and cleans up after itself.

just call it like so:

DisplayOutput "This is the string I want to display."

You know what?

This function is very good but writing an temporary hta and launching it via shell is even faster due to IE slowlyness to load.

Ok, here is an HTA-type display window.

Hi,

I noticed something interesting about HTAs which resize the window recently( well, on my pc anyway...)

If the resize code uses the Window_Onload  to size the window there is a visible flickering as it resizes the window, whereas if the resizing code is placed directly as a  vbscript block within the body html there is no flicker. Compare the following...
flicker.hta

as opposed to this one...

no_flicker.hta

Don't know why this works, but might be useful to someone :-)

Window_onload runs after the window and body has been rendered. Running script directly in the body runs before the page has become visible (rendered and displayed).
