Fairly new to this.  ...not looking for someone to write a script, just a good place to look or a topic to search for.  I have a database in MS Access.  In a few of these tables there is a value that I need changed from the current value to a new value.  The current value and replacement value will be the same in all the tables I need to change.  Can I use some kind of OpenTable/seek and replace VB scipt to perform this function?  Any pointing in the right direction would be of great help.

-Thanks

This is your first post so I'll drop some hints first.

This forum is for getting "help" not asking for someone to write a script for you.
Take a look at the 3 links above and ask again after you have made an attempt to come up with a solution.

The first line of my post says:  "...not looking for someone to write a script..."  All I wanted was a route or keyword to search, which is what it says to do in the 3rd link you referred me to.  Trying to keep it positive, I have remedied my issue after some web and forum searching.  I had some extra actions that I did not need that were causing errors.  Thanks.  Have a good one.

i dont know much about ms access but i know theres so many things you can do to parse/edit data within the dbase.  there should be a way to do it through ms access with design view/sql view, no need for vbs... if your still having issues let me know i'll try parsing the data and cut and paste the sql commands...
