I hope someone can help me.

I have two files an Excel document and a text file.
How do i go about copying the contents of the text file into a column of the Excel document...??

Everything i have found only copies in to a NEW Excel document this i do not wish to do.

Status: offline 		What have you tried so far?  I would suggest looking at examples and playing around with them and posting something: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/scriptcenter/resources/officetips/archive.mspx 

FileSystemObject should let you read the text file...you can open an existing xls file using the excel object to then append your data.
