Hello,

I have the vb Bibile posted by microsoft however it does not give a complete list of comands methods etc...

It seems to miss out ones....

I have primalscript 4.0 which I use and it does not give anything like some of the things I have seen in some of the scrpits I have seen here... Is there a definative list which tells all the commands menthods properties... i.e a true VB Script bible?

I think many people in this forum would find it seful if anyone knows of a such thing...

or is there something that I need for primalscript for the complete library?

Many Thanks

James

I assume you're talking about a mass reference of COM Objects:

If this is the case, all you can do is rely on your Object browser in the program you are using, or google the progid and see if you can find a reference. There are as many methods as there are dll's out there so one mass reference would be massive indeed.(One of the reasons .NET was developed to simplify this "dll hell").

Maybe I'm wrong and there is some mass API wiki out there, but I have yet to see one.

Thanks for that I will give it a go...

Do we know if there is a more complete list of the commands for primalscript say? like a complete library...

wscript.timeout I found the other day on this very forum and yet it seems to not show up in the primalscript library however it uses it and works perfectly...

Any Ideas?

Only thing is that if there were something that we could do I think I would possibly be able to assist more people in here with there code as some of the things I dont understand and cant seem to find in my document tation and there not in the primalscript librarys... Some of the people I have helped is because of sheer luck logic and google searching but a refrence would have greatly speeded up the response...

Many Thanks

James

Never used PrimalScript myself, but there are a decent number of editors out there with excellent object browsers like vbsedit:

not saying you should switch editors, but it doesnt hurt to use something else to assist your main app development.

PrimalScript has a built-in Type Library Browser which can let you peak at some of that info as well.

I like looking at the MS SDK which is a huge install, but has a lot of information that comes in very handy; then it is off to an object browser, and finally a google search.
