We do have computer` with for removable sdevices. the y are fixed in the hardware and you can plug in cards (e.g, flash disk and so on). the problem is want to ghive the lower drive letters to net shares (drive mappings from the LAN). what we wat to do now is to re-letter the removable ons as in the pictures shown below.

what we would like to do is to do the job with a VBScript or equivalent with a batch file. so we yould run it in the startup routine or similar.

can anybody assist wuith ideas or a possible way of doing it? i searched for drive letter in the forum but i eventually gave up on no helping results...
