Hello all

I've been using objshell.sendkeys to navigate around a webpage.

I was wondering whether there was another method?

Maybe identify a specific word and click this section!

Look forward to any replies!

Thanks for any help or advice in advance.

regards

BFGK

Hi bigfatgreedykat,

this script:

manipulates HTML elements of this .HTML

using the DOM. If the elements have names or ids, then additional access methods
can be used:

oDOC.frmDb2Wp.<Name/Id>.Value = "some text"
oDOC.getElementById( "<Id>" ).click

I hope this will get you started.

If you want us to give you ideas, you need to give us an idea of precidsely what you are doing. Please post the actual code that you are running, the exact error that you get, and the line that the error occurs on.

I would recommend AutoIT instead of VBScript if you intend to use send keys and click on buttons....it is much better suited for these tasks.
