I am writing a script that will search the through the registry for a value specified with evaluate it with a regexp and then assisgn it to an array. I am having  a  problem matching the value I retrive using the GetStringValue. I out a echo statement and it dispays the corret value but when i assign the result to a string and then try to compare it using regex it fails. But If I hard code theexact same path and value and use the regex it works. Any ideas?

Hmmm...I am still on Office 2003 here so I changed this:

.Pattern = "Office12"

To this

.Pattern = "Office11"

But with that one minor change it ran correctly for me.
