Hi,

Want to run an application through vbscript in background as a process, and the user shouldnt be able to see whether the application is open or not.

Tried the following code. Could'nt be of any help.

ws.Run file_to_open,0,1

Could anybody please help me on same.

What are you running. The cammnd you have should run the app hidden.

Maybe "running" a file (txt, doc etc) would pop it up open regardless of the 0 (invisible) variable.
Try running the exe file with the file-to-open as parameter.
And, yes we wold like to know what you are trying to run hiden...
