Hi,
I have a VBScript that will check the Windows XP Event logs and display all error logs that are listed there. I would like the VBScript to show every error log only once. For example, in case Event log contains same error log several times I would like to see this log only once, but I also need to know how many time is this log appeared in Event log.
The script I have is the following:

What can I add to this script to make this happen? Thanks for any help!

Thanks dm, I did find useful info @ http://www.visualbasicscript.com/m_51625/mpage_1/key_event%2clog/tm.htm#51631 . Unfortunately, I don't know how to pull the resulting data from "my" script into an array.
I am completely new to VB scripting, so if my newbie question sounds stupid, I apologize.

Any help that you can provide is very much appreciated.

You found the post I was thinking of.

What would you consider a similar error? Same event code or category or message or event type?....or a combination of a few of these? You really don't need to add this data into an array to use the example I posted before.
