I'm not sure why, but when i use  the % (alt) in a vbscript in vista, it errors out saying invalid procedure call or argument. Is % still used for the alt key? or has this changed in vista?

TNQ,

would you mind trying that out with a letter instead of a {TAB}?

Still works fine here:

try unregistering and reregistering WScript.Shell?
regsvr32 %SystemRoot%\system32\scrrun.dll

What does your code look like?

Are you doing this:

objShell.SendKeys "%"

or this?

objShell.SendKeys %
