Status: offline 		Is it possible to do this with VBScript? I have been looking around but it looks to me as though you need a 3rd party .dll.

I just need to know if I can do this and a couple of pointers would be helpful.

Status: offline 		Windows Firewall uses the sharedaccess service.  you can just start this services if it is disabled.

Status: offline 		The problem is that doing it that way requires a reboot or additional effort before the firewall is actually ON.
Better and easier to use netsh.
