Hi All!

I need to delete an old Internet shortcut we have had out on our users desktop for a long, long time.

I assume I would use FSO, but what I'm not sure of how to address the short cut file name.

I'm looking in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop in the detail mode and I don't see any extensions, but
I thought all shortcuts have extension .lnk. Also, does the All User Desktop have a special folder name?

Oh, run more thing I went into view to make sure I was displaying extensions.

Any guidance will be gratefully received.

    Thanks a million!!!!

    The code I had was this:



Except I didn't have the special folder name or extension, your code will come in handy, it will become a
subroutine.

I'll comment out the Wscript.Echo and incorporate the script snippet into my post logon script.

Next time you are in Tampa, give me a call and lunch is on me (PM for contact number)

The snake (my boss) was wanting this to happen this afternoon and now it will happen.
