First of all I am not a real/good VBscript programmer. I can understand some code but programming it myself is not going very fast. I am more a copy-paste scripter.
On my job as systemadministrator I would like to build a function to check if a networkmapping exist on the local computer (eg. inputstring is: \\server01\user$\berimbau).
If it exist I would like a value TRUE and the driveletter on which the mapping is. Otherwise FALSE.

Can somebody help me with this script?

So you want to see if the specified share is mapped to a drive on the local machine where the script is running?
