I am having a problem with some strings being returned by a component. It seems like there is a null character in the string. I can't seem to figure out how to make sure that is the problem or how to fix it. VB does not seem to be able to search for a null character in a string, nor does it seem to be able to replace a null character in a string. Does anyone know anything about this?

Thanks.

- Nick
