I have a Floating point number stored as a Hexadecimal. I need to convert it back into a usable string to output onto an ASP page.

Ideally I am looking for something that does what the Hex function, in VBScript, does but in reverse?

as an example I have 40C7700000000000 which is 12000, the hex number maybe reversed. I am still working alot of this out?

hope that makes sense.
