Hi there. I'm writing a page of quick links for my department at work. It's just for our intranet and contains links to frequently-used documents on our network drives. I'm using VBscript because i want links to excel and word files to open actually in excel and word (rather than IE, which is what normally happens). It all works like a dream when i open the html document from my desktop. But, when i open an exact copy of the same document from another location (either on the intranet or even just a straight link from a copy i put on a network drive) the vbscript stops working. The buttons don't open the document any more and you get an "error on page" message in the bottom left. Anyone know why this works when opened from a local copy, but not from a copy elsewhere? Everything is in this one document: style, script and body, all in one .html file.
