Hello!

Having little knowledge of VB, could someone please tell me if the following is even possible, and if so, what major steps are involved?

I want to dynamically generate a PowerPoint presentation for visitors to a web site.

The ppt file can be generated from scratch, or be a template with custom data inserted. The ppt file is a series of charts of that data.

In a template case, I imagine an ASP page with VB that calls PowerPoint (which the user must have on his machine), download the file to the user and open it in PowerPoint, then insert the data into PowerPoint's charting facility.

I used VB to access a database several years ago but have retained very little knowledge of the langage.

Thanks kindly.
