just been looking at this nircmd program. http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/nircmd.html seems quite cool. however i am trying to get it to open a message on a remote pc, but i am struggling. anyone know what to do. apparently it should be something like this: I know its not vbscript, but i thought someone might know. remote \\comp2 infobox "This is a message from NirCmd" "Hello !"

Did you look at the help file included? NirCmd needs to exist on the remote machine for that to work. If it doesn't currently exist you need to copy it. nircmd.exe remote copy \\comp2 infobox "This is a message from NirCmd" "Hello !"

Hmm, don't know what to tell you...I tried it with the machine right next to me and it worked just fine though with a big delay.

i must apologize. just did it again and it works. i kept getting error message originally. must have been a typo. cheers as usual.
