nircmd remote?

Hello! Didn't really know where else to post this so...
I need to be able to control volume from a remote computer and I found nircmd. I recently bought a new computer and I moved all my music over there. I wanted to find an easy way to control the computer without having to go there. However, I must be doing it wrong for some reason. I downloaded nircmd and put it in my C drive, opened up the command prompt, and typed in: C:\nircmd.exe remote copy \\computername changesysvolume 2000
I tried different computer names (didn't really know what to use there.... tried IP and mac address to no avail) and I tried other commands, but nothing worked
I looked over the requirements: both computers are windows 7, both on the only account on the computer (which is by default, an admin), Schedule running for both computers, tried waiting 60 seconds, and not really sure about the last one (The command in the remote machine is executed under 'SYSTEM' account, and thus some commands may not work in the same way as you execute them locally.)

Can anyone help?
