im making a program that has a periodical reports. it will search the date from and to so i can see in the result page the data from the date entered and up to the date entered. since the date format is like this one, 6/17/2007, i want to see in the result page the real month which is june. so meaning, i want to convert the numerical month into words.
 here is the example:
from: 6/17/2007

to: 8/12/2007

in the result page,, i want to convert this into words like these one:

from June 16, 2007 to August 12, 2007

anyone, pls help me!
thanks a lot!!

The substitution is easy. Search the forum for "dictionary". Then make a dictionary of the months and use it to substitute for the number.

      My preference:

      Dim MyVar
MyVar = MonthName(10, True) ' MyVar contains "Oct".

            Hi aerialv,

If your date is dynamic value. you are able to do by changing your date format from <%=(Recordset1.Fields.Item("todate").Value)%> to <%= DoDateTime((Recordset1.Fields.Item("todate").Value), 1, 4105) %> in result page. you should change "Recordset1"  and "todate" to real words in your script.
