Is that possible? As I can't write any scripts at all, I need your help. Tried to look for code snippets, but all I found did not work out or was created for Outlook only.   Perhaps, there's a method just to create a new e-mail via mailto: (mailto:?Body=%5C%5Cserver%5Cabsolute%5Cfilepath%5Cfile.xlsx) - so a new e-mail would be generated with "\\server\absolute\filepath\file.xlsx" in the body.   Furthermore, the file should be linked (not only text). This is needed, that my colleagues don't edit local copies of files, which are located already on a network storage, which is accessible for all guys.   Win10, Lotus Notes 9   Thank you so much for your help soendi

What you can do is send mail via a script: schema = "http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/" Set msg = CreateObject("CDO.Message") msg.Subject  = "Test" msg.From     = "sender@example.com" msg.To       = "recipient@example.org" msg.TextBody = "This is some sample message text." msg.AddAttachment "C:\path\to\your.file" With msg.Configuration.Fields   .Item(schema & "sendusing")      = 2   .Item(schema & "smtpserver")     = "smtp.intern.example.com"   .Item(schema & "smtpserverport") = 25   .Update End With msg.SendDepending on the configuration of the SMTP server you may need to add credentials or change the port.
